JURORINFORMATION
Paul LowePaul Lowe (UK)
Paul Lowe is an award-winning freelance photographer and teacher. His work has appeared in Time, Newsweek, Life, Der Spiegel, The Observer and The Independent amongst others. He has covered breaking news the world over, including the fall of the Berlin Wall, Nelson Mandelas release, the Rwandan genocide, the destruction of Grozny and the conflict in the former Yugoslavia, especially in Bosnia. Since 2004, Paul has been course director of the Masters programme in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication, UK.
Craig SemetkoCraig Semetko (USA)
Craig Semetko's work was recently featured in the exhibition "Street Photography--From Classic to Contemporary: Henri Cartier-Bresson and Craig Semetko" at the Open Shutter Gallery in Durango, Colorado. In 2009 his work was exhibited at the Leica galleries in Solms and Frankfurt, Germany, and will be shown January 7th--March 2nd, 2010 at the Leica Gallery in Salzburg, Austria. His work will also be shown at the Camera Obscura Gallery, opening April 23th, 2010, in Denver, Colorado. He was Leica Camera USA's keynote speaker at the 2009 annual meeting of the Leica Historical Society of America.

His photographs have appeared in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, the Turkish daily “Zaman”, The Netherlands’ weekly “Folio,” “Time Out: Edinburgh,” and the Family of Man 2 Project. His work can also be found in private collections throughout the United States and Europe. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Visit his website.
Mitchell KanashkevichMitchell Kanashkevich (AU)
Michell is a freelance travel and culture photographer based in Sydney, Australia. He is a lecturer of PD-JKT and the author of two e-books about photography. Mitchell is currently reporting on his blog about his photography of eastern Europe.

Damaso ReyesDamaso Reyes (USA)
Damaso Reyes has been a photojournalist for over ten years. He began his career as a stringer for the New York Amsterdam News where he was an intern and later served as Southeast Asia Bureau Chief from 2001 to 2003.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Damaso attended The Department of Photography at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He has worked for institutions and his work has appeared in publications including: The United Nations Development Programme, The Associated Press, The Wall Street Journal, Newsday, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Far Eastern Economic Review, New York magazine, Vanity Fair Germany, Der Spiegel and Time Asia. Previous assignments and projects have taken him to countries including Rwanda, Iraq, Indonesia, Tanzania and throughout the United States. His images are also featured in the monograph "Black: A Celebration of a Culture" and the book "Innocents Lost: When Child Soldiers go to War". He is the recipient of several awards and fellowships including a Fulbright and Arthur F. Burns Fellowship and two first place awards for international reporting from the New York Association of Black Journalists.
Damaso is also the principal photographer on "The Europeans", a long term photographic documentary project examining the changes that Europe and its people are experiencing as the European Union expands and continues to integrate.
Carl MerkinCarl Merkin (USA)
Carl is a member of the Board of Directors of the LEICA Historical Society of America (LHSA), and Webmaster of LHSA.ORG. He also administers the LEICA Historical Society FB page. Carl is a retired nature and still-life photographer with over 40 years experience in the advertising and publishing markets, and for 28 of those years, he moonlighted as one of New York's busiest wedding and event shooters. He now dedicates his time to street shooting, travel photography and collecting LEICA cameras.
Agung WibowoAgung 'Oryn' Wibowo (ID)
Agung is the founder of the largest Indonesian photo-community on facebook "Gallery Photography Indonesia"(GPI). He holds a Master of Corporate Communications from The London School of Public Relations, and is a professional webmaster certified by the Florida State University, USA
