Opticians like us to buy expensive solutions to clean our glasses (yes, sometimes photographer wear glasses as well). But the most cost-effective way for cleaning them might still be to use a little dish-washer detergent and dry them with a household tissue. What is good for your glasses is not good for your camera lenses! These precious optics are coated with very thin layers on their surface to minimize lens flare and reflections (more about this here). The video shows how to clean a camera lens and what kind of tools are appropriate for the job. Happy cleaning!
