In 1996/97 that is what people paid for a Nikon with just 1.3 megapixels, as Jarie Aasland is telling us on his nikonweb site. Such and many other stories about Nikon are to be found on his site which is interesting to read, because the reader is taken back in time. Don’t you worry, not so long back in time, but sometimes 10 years make a huge difference — see above.
He got his hand on the new Leica M9 for a few days to try out and reports: “Love at first sight”.
