Seeing the light – isn’t this what photography is all about? Well, maybe not all, but without it, images would not fascinate the viewer.
Mitchell Kanashkevich travels the world and brings home images, which have this ‘magic light’. Most photographers might keep it this way, so everybody else would just wonder how the magic happened. Not so Mitchell, in his new e-book ($12) he explains step by step how to achieve the look of his pictures by “sculpting” with light and creating atmospheric lighting effects with a single flash, a reflector or just the available natural light.
