Para mahasiswa mengumpulkan cerita tentang kabupaten Athena dan penduduknya dalam foto-foto, suara dan video. Salah satu cerita yang paling menyentuh mungkin adalah Tom Rose , yang istrinya meninggal setahun yang lalu. Fotografer dari hasil karya jurnalistik visual yang luar biasa ini adalah Maisie Crow.

Masterpiece of visual journalism: Soul of a county, “Soul of Athens”

Produced by students at Ohio University’s School of Visual Communication, along with some students from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, this third edition of the project involves more than 50 photographers, designers, Web developers, and writers, and it was executive produced by NPPA member Terry Eiler, a photojournalism professor and VisCom’s director.(via National Press Photographers Association)

The students put together stories about the county of Athen and its people in photographs, sound and video. One of the most touching stories might be the one of Tom Rose, whose wife Mary passed away a year ago. Photographer of this amazing piece of visual journalism is Maisie Crow.
